Hello Cyberheads,
Recently I have been involved in reading what Kabbalah is and what is the purpose of studying it. I try to put in practice the teachings of Kabbalah and I have been experiencing changes in my daily life. Some days ago I was surprised because, in my relationship with my mom, I had had some difficulties communicating to her my plans some activities like going out with my friends to dance or celebrating a birthday or wedding. She desagree with me saying that people who don't sleep well fail in their work. I think I sleep mopre than enough hours in order to recover my energies and nothing has made me stop or fail in my work. Surprisingly after six or so months of studying and applying Kabbalah's teachings, we haven't disagree any more. We have a better relationship. We communicate with each other more and I think we're closer. I know there's a lot to improve. I won't hesitate in keeping that goal.
Kabbalah is not a new wave of thinking. It's an ancient wisdom of 4,000 or so years. This teachings can be traced to Avraham, the patriarch. His life is described in the Bible, specifically in the first book of Moses, Genesis or Bereshit.
It's not a mode bring it to live by Hollywood stars but a wisdom who recently has been widespread for good reasons. These teachings are a human treasure recently divulgated for the good sake of humanity.
Look at our world! We are facing fast changes, some of them are not good ones.
This world is in continuously change as we also must do. We have to be in a sort of countinuos transformation in order to fulfill our lives with that sense of purpose and achieving our goals, necesities and desires.
Our universe is submitted to several natural laws. We can see it with Newton's apple and Gravitation. One of Kabbalah's aspect deals with the conection between our phisical and limited world and the spiritual and unlimited world. Kabbalah describes some laws that exert over both worlds. It deals with how the universe operes, it's about the Rules of Life and how people can explote their inner potential. Without knowing these rules they couldn't achieve to that potential.
One of the main rules, that Kabbalah describes, is that we are living in a physical world of outcomes. War, poverty, hunger, and so are outcomes, not causes.
The world of causes is the Upper World, the source of everything that exists. People deals with outcomes and in order to achieve causes of our happiness or fulfillment we need to attain spirituality, which is to know the power of our conscience.
Kabbalah is a science, a way of making direct conection with things that seam to us magical and unfathomable only because we don't understand in our current state of awareness. Applying Kabbalah teachings give us freedom in the world of outcomes. It give us self agancy of what we experience in our daily life.
We currently experience times of satisfaction and times of frustration. The purpose of studying Kabbalah is to achieve never ending satisfaction. When we make an effort to achieve never ending satisfaction the process of evolving becomes the way enjoyable. We stop from selling ourselves for limited and ephemeral satisfaction. We enjoy our life knowing there's a purpose and knowing we made our own road along with our Creator.
We are engaged in "selling ourselves" because of that ephemeral but intense sense of pleasure and satisfaction. This sensation is perceived by our five senses. As human beings, we are constituted of a physical structure limited by the information we obtain from the five senses. This information is unique for each organism and delimited by the nature of the reception process of the senses. We can not see UV radiation because we don't have any kind of receptor for it but we can see their effect on red skin when someone tanned. This fact that Biology, Psychology and other disciplines have become awore recently, is well known and has been known for centuries by Kabbalah practitioners.
Kabbalah describes a world limited by human perception called the world of 1% , our world. Also there is an unlimited perception, the world of the 99% of reality. Kabbalah explains the reasons why these facts affect us. As physics like Stephen Hawkins have recently explained, Kabbalah proposes that time and the other dimensions of our reality began in a common point. Scientifically we call this point the "Big Bang". Kabbalah names it as The Creation.
The only creation that ever exists is the physical world. The Creator, who has the nature of giving, made possible our existence and we were full of unlimited pleasure. We were one with him.
We also have a piece of the nature of him, we wanted to experience the sensation of giving but we were own with him and we couldn't give anything. We had it all!
We beg our Creator to hide himself so we could experience the pleasure by gaining it. We would gain what we wanted by our own means. We wanted to be like him. We wanted to give and share. So our world functions primarily by this rule.
If we are more like our Creator is, then we feel ourselves plenty.
I will soon post more about Kabbalah, let me know if this is interesting to you, your doubts and comentaries. Leave a comment!
Bye now,
Nick
P.S. Para mis lectores en español, no se preocupen, debido a la extensión de este post en inglés he decidido postearlo en español después. No se me desesperen.
