A Few Words... in Hebrew/Unas palabras... en Hebreo

Hello Cyberheads,

I'm really happy because I've been learning and studying Hebrew really hard these last days. I've been reading a part of a magazine which discusses about equal rights between men and women. I really liked it because it's an oportunity for both, men and women, to express their own personal views. I share with you a fragment that I translate after it's shown. Enjoy it!

Estoy realmente contento por que he estado aprendiendo y estudiando Hebreo con mucho esfuerzo estos últimos días. He estado leyendo una parte de una revista en la que se discute acerca de la igualdad de derechos entre hombres y mujeres. Realmente me gustó por que es una oportunidad para que ambos, hombres y mujeres, espresen sus visiones personales. Comparto con ustedes un fragmento que traduzco después de mostrarlo. ¡Disfrútenlo!

לפני שבוע הכרתי את צפורה، ואתמול יצאנו לבלות̣ רק יצאנו מהבית، אמרה לי צפורה׃ ״אתה יודע، אני בעד שוויון בין גברים ובין נשים̣ בוא נעשה הסכם׃ פעם אני אשלם ופעם אתה תשלם״

Translation: The last week I met to Tsiporah, and yesterday we went out to spend a time. Just after leave the house, Tsiporah told me: "You know, I'm up to the equal rights between men and women. Let's do a deal: once I will pay and then you will pay"

Note from Nick: Tsiporah is a very popular hebrew name for women. This fragment describes a people's misconception regarding equal rights, it's not about the money!
